Visit Albion Mall, for example, and you will feel an immense Indian cultural influence, though Assyrians and other West Asians are prevalent in the racial mix of the clientele. That said, the Woodbine Centre is much more of a neutral/typical mall, which could be said to have a greater "Canadian" influence, for lack of a better word. Due to that you can feel the great mix of cultures when you visit.

However, for some being a resident of Rexdale can be somewhat of an embarrassment, as it is often regarded as one of Toronto's worst and most crime-ridden areas.

The inner city culture is associated with Rexdale life and it may contribute to the high crime rate (in comparison to the rest of Canada). This urban "style" is reflected in youth dress, slang, and the prevalence of violence as a means of solving problems.
