Reynosa is a primarily industrial city in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas.
Reynosa is located at 26.08° N 98.28° W, across the Rio Grande (Río Bravo) from McAllen in the U.S. state of Texas.
In recent years, Reynosa has seen an increase in its population as thousands of workers from different parts of the country, most notably from the State of Veracruz, seek better work opportunities in the city's maquiladora sector.
