The Chilean Shrew Opossum (Rhyncholestes raphanurus) is one of five surviving species of shrew opossum. It is a small marsupial that lives in old growth evergreen temperate forests in Chile and Argentina.


It is an endangered species included in the Red List of Threatened species.
