Ricardo Mangue Obama Nfubea (born c.1961) became Prime Minister of Equatorial Guinea on 14 August 2006, the first member of the majority Fang community to serve in this post [1]. He is a lawyer by profession and a member of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE). Mangue Obama was second deputy prime minister in the previous government of Miguel Abia Biteo Boricó, and also previously held the labor and education portfolios.
