Richfield is a village in Summit County, Ohio, United States. The population was 3,286 at the 2000 census. The village and surrounding township are fast-growing, rural/suburban communities, known for good schools and being equidistant between the downtown areas of Akron and Cleveland and has therefore become an increasingly wealthy community, with almost all new home construction consisting of high-end homes ranging from half a million dollars to over 2 million in price.
