Encyclopedia > Richmond tube station

Richmond station is a station in Richmond upon Thames, in South West London England, and is a south-western terminus of London Underground's District Line, and the western terminus of the North London Line (now run by Silverlink and called the Silverlink Metro). It is also a through station served by South West Trains to and from Waterloo, Windsor & Eton Riverside, Kingston and Reading.

The District Line and the North London Line depart from different platforms, however they share tracks from here to Gunnersbury. South West Trains serve different platforms again.

(Note that this station does not serve Richmond, North Yorkshire).
