Ride Lonesome(1959) is one of Budd Boetticher's series of westerns with Randolph Scott that began with Seven Men from Now. It is another variation on the same theme of an aging man (usually a former lawman) who finds himself in a situation where he must protect a married or widowed woman from threats including a likeable villain.
