(indonesian spelling - "Rinca" is also used.) Part of Indonesia. Small Island near Komodo island, Rincah is the other place where you can meet Komodo Dragons, giant lizards that can measure up to 3 meters long. Rincah is also populated with many other species like wild pigs, buffalos and many birds. The island can be reached with a small boat from Labuhan Bajo on the West coast of Flores.
RINCA recognizes that nonprofit corporations hold themselves out as: (1) operating for public or charitable purposes (public benefit corporations); (2) benefiting their members or a group of people they serve or represent (mutual benefit corporations); and (3) operating primarily or exclusively for religious purposes (religious corporations).
RINCA incorporates the recent changes that were made to the Iowa Business Corporation Act with regard to the director liability shield to make more certain the circumstances under which a director, officer, member or other volunteer would be immune from liability.
RINCA also requires the member to describe with reasonable particularity the purpose and the records that are desired for the inspection.
Today isolated by the strong, unpredictable currents in the straits that separate them, these dry and barren island draw thousands of travelers from all over the world to view the lizards in their natural habitat.
Komodo, as well as the neighboring islands of Padar, Rinca, Motong, and two small areas on Flores south of Labuhanbajo, were made a national park in 1980.
It is found mainly in Komodo, Rinca, Padar and Flores Islands, about 450 km east of Bali.
