Riverside is located at 31°10'43" North, 83°48'18" West (31.178587, -83.805121)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²). 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

As of the census² of 2000, there are 57 people, 20 households, and 16 families residing in the town. The population density is 100.0/km² (263.7/mi²). There are 26 housing units at an average density of 45.6/km² (120.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.25% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.75% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 20 households out of which 50.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.0% are married couples living together, 15.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 20.0% are non-families. 15.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 10.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
