Biography

Merrill started to play guitar at age ten but later switched to bass. He has played in a country, blues, reggae, prog, and '50's/'60's cover band. Before joining Godsmack, Merrill was a self-employed carpenter (a trade he shared with Godsmack lead guitarist Tony Rombola).
