In the world of Sonic the Hedgehog, Roboticization is a name used to describe the process that the evil Dr. Robotnik uses to transform the anthropomorphic animals of Mobius into robotic slaves. To date, this operation has been used countless times, but probably the most memorable times were during the courses of Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, and 3, when the names Miles "Tails" Prower and Knuckles the Echidna were becoming more known to the world.
She is partially roboticized: everything from the hips down, and her left arm and shoulder.

Well, in the cartoons her, uh, lower area *wasn't* roboticized, so I'm guessing that since she had a belt on the colorists at Archie accidently colored it gray instead of purple and just kept it that way.
