The Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway, often known simply as the Rock Creek Parkway, is a parkway maintained by the National Park Service as part of Rock Creek Park in Washington, D.C. During rush hour, all lanes are used for the prevailing direction of travel. More specifically, the Parkway is one-way south on weekdays from 6:45 am to 9:45 am, and one-way north from 3:45 pm to 6:30 pm. An alternate northbound route for morning travel, is to take 16th Street north, to Military Road west, then turn left on Glover Rd.
