"Rods and Cones" is a live digital single by Blue Man Group, released on the iTunes Store on July 11, 2006. An instrumental version of the song was originally released on the group's debut album, Audio, however the single, which can also be found on Blue Man Group's album Live at the Venetian, Las Vegas, is the version performed at their venue shows and is one of the group's most popular live pieces. The song is mostly instrumental, except for a voice over about the rod and cone photoreceptors of the human eye.
