RogerClimpson is the recipient of numerous awards including the Television Society of Australias Best Newsreader Award (1978); the Producers & Directors Guild Of Australia Lifetime Achievement Award (1994); the Rotary Vocational Excellence Award (1995); the Variety of Australias "The Television Award" (1995); and the Bible Societys Flame Award (1998).
In 2004 RogerClimpson was awarded The Medal of the Order of Australia in the General Division for services to the media, particularly through the Christian Broadcasting Association and to the community through a range of service groups.
