One such island is RokkoIsland in the city of Kobe, which many Japanese view as a kind of paradise.
But now the KobeRokkoIsland Corporation (better known as RIC), the entity responsible for orderly development and economic progress on the island, has figured out a way to sweep all this under the rug, and point us toward greater horizons of peace, harmony and prosperity.
By this time next year, RokkoIsland's destiny will once more rest securely in the hands of reasonable men, and I, lone dissenter to the principles of enlightened civilization, will be safely back in New Jersey.
