They are one of the most recognized retailers of surfboards and swimwear in the world. The Original, Surf City, New Jersey
The original Ron Jon Surf Shop was opened on Long Beach Island at the Jersey Shore in 1961. It is currently in its third building, a four-story shop near its original location.
One of a Kind, Cocoa Beach, Florida
Billed as the largest surf shop in the world, it was first opened on Canaveral Pier in 1963. At the time, Cocoa Beach was growing in popularity due to the space race, and Ron Jon took advantage. Eventually, the corporate headquarters of Ron Jon was relocated to Cocoa Beach. One of a Kind is also in its third building, on the corner of A1A and SR 520 in Cocoa Beach.

Ron Jon Surfpark

Ron Jon Surfpark, produced in conjunction with Surfparks, will open in Spring 2006 at the Festival Bay Mall in Orlando, Florida. It will be located on the side opposite of where the Orlando Ron Jon Surf Shop is. It will feature a football field-sized main wave pool capable of 4-8 ft. waves and rides of up to 100 yards, a training pool capable of 3-4 ft. waves and rides up to 35 yards, and a boogie pool that produces simple swells.
