The road continues as a divided highway, first as the William F. McClellan Highway. Through Revere, Massachusetts, it is known as Lee Burbank Highway, then as North Shore Road (which runs through the isolated Point of Pines neighborhood) until exiting Revere over the General Edwards Bridge. Much of the highway running through Lynn, Massachusetts is known as the Lynnway. After the Lynnway portion, the route follows mainly undivided local streets for the rest of its length.
