Roy Mayorga (born April 6, 1970 in New York City, New York).He started getting into drums when he was about 4 or 5 years old. Continued playing and playing until he was about maybe 13, 14 got into a couple hardcore bands playing punk rock music.He was also in some bands with his brother.First gig he played in a community center at a show opening up for bands like Naked Rig and 7 seconds in a little punk band called Youth Quake. Roy is a drummer currently playing with Sepultura. He was also the drummer for Soulfly, and he did a remix for Sepultura called Chaos A.D. (Refuse-Resist), which led him to play in Soulfly and occasionally played live with the bands Medication, Mass Mental, Shelter, Abloom, Allele. He was also a former member of the bands Thorn and Nausea. He also did studio tracks for Vanilla Ice, Dave Navarro, Amen & Ozzy Osbourne, and recently did some studio tacks for the Roadrunner United - The All-Stars Sessions, with Dino Cazares, Paul Grey, Andreas Kisser, Logan Mader, Nadja Peulen and also participated in the 25th Anniversary Show of Roadrunner.
