History

Before STAR World, STAR Plus was STAR's English-language entertainment channel which has started its operations on 1992 and its Hindi counterpart is ZEE TV. But after STAR ended their partnership with ZEE TV (now ZEE Telefilms, Ltd.), STAR Plus has been changed to Hindi-language and had launched STAR World.
