The park features a 2.5 mile hiking trail to the top of Saddle Mountain (elevation 3283 feet), located within the park. The park has camping sites available from March through November. The hike to summit Saddle Mountain takes a moderately fit person 2-3 hours. From the peak you can see the Pacific Ocean. The Winter season provides for some snow, experienced alpinists/mountaineers should only tackle these conditions as the stretch extending from the actual "saddle" to the summit is a very steep angle.
