The early Christians referred to themselves as saints, and "Saint Andrew" is this apostle's title.
Since Andrew (Andreas) is a Greek name, I'm assuming that it wasn't the original name of a 1st century Jew.
I've added a reference to the use in BDSM of the term 'St Andrews Cross' in reference to a piece of bondage furniture.
