Salernitana Calcio 1919 is an Italian football club based in Salerno, Campania.
The team was formed in 1919 and it last had a stint in Serie A in 1998-99; the previous one ended in 1947-48.
The team was known as Salernitana Sport before the cancellation of the former club from Italian football because of financial troubles.
