Salten Langsø Forest District is an administrative unit which at the time being consists of 35 independent forest properties which in total constitutes to 5951 hectars of which 3614 hectars are cultivated.
During the last 100 years, the owners of Salten Langsø Forest District have taken care of the areas around Salten Langsø and in Skærbæk in a way such that the district both aesthetically and naturally is a unique part of the danish landscape.
