Sam Endicott who was born in 1974 is the lead singer for the New York-based band The Bravery. Endicott grew up in the Washington, DC, suburb of Bethesda, Maryland. Before moving to NYC and founding The Bravery, he received a degree in psychology from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he was classmates with Bravery keyboardist John Conway.
