A region between river Chenab and river Ravi in Punjab Pakistan spread over almost 80 km in lenght and40 km in lenght from north to south. Bar actually means forest area where there is no resources for cultivation like water. This Bar is named after Saandal who is thought to be Father od famous Dulla Bhatti. In old times almost all the area of this bar was part of current district Jhang but nowadays it is devided between ditricts Faisalabad,Jhang and Toba Tek Singh. Jhangochi is the oldest and pure dialect of Punjabi Language, it also has a wide spread area starting from Khanewal at both ends of Ravi and Chenab ending into Gujranwala Distrcit. Whole area almost have same tradition and culture. There are different aspects of Jhangochi dialect of Punjabi language and also the great culture of this area which creadted the romance stories of Heer Ranjha and Mirza Sahiba.
