Sandra L. Smith is the leader of the Communist Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist) (aka the Marxist-Leninist Party of Canada) and the widow of the party's founder and long-time leader, Hardial Bains.
Sandra L. Smith is the current national leader of the Communist Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist) since the 7th Congress of CPC(M-L) in 1998.
On the basis of this work, Sandra champions the recognition of the right of Quebec to self-determination, the hereditary rights of the First Nations, and the affirmation of the collective rights of women, youth and students, the working class, national minorities, the impoverished, the disabled, and all others.
