Sanuki (さぬき市; -shi) is a city located in Kagawa, Japan.


As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 57,382 and the density of 361.32 persons per kmē. The total area is 158.81 kmē.


The city was founded on April 1, 2002 and is the merger of five towns from the western part of the former Okawa District: Shido, Tsuda, Nagao, Sangawa, and Okawa [1] (http://www.ksb.co.jp/new_ksb/weekly/02-04-08.html).
