Saoirse learned of her heritage as a daughter of Amber, though Amber¹s role in the universe did not become apparent until she began lessons to prepare her for the Pattern, administered primarily by Brand.
Saoirse is the daughter of Benedict (Royal House Barimen of Amber) and Silken (House Laumann of Lucerne), a woman from the mountainous shadow of Karlsruhe.
