Sathyan is arguably the most talented actor the Malayalam movie world has seen - even though from a totally different era. His role in "Chemmeen", the epic love story set against the background of the bubbly waters of the coast of Alappuzha did not quite win him the best actor award for the year, but made him a legend that would live even to this day.
