The album was the follow up to the tremendously successful Love at First Sting and had some musical differences when compared to its predecessor. The overall feel of the album shows that Scorpions wanted to experiment with some different genres, but nothing too drastic, going to a more radio friendly style. There are still some straight hard rock songs, like "Don't Stop At The Top" and "Media Overkill", but there are some songs that show a more experimental side, like the progressive rock influenced "Walking On The Edge". The song "Passion Rules The Game" also shows some influence from dance music. Love at First Sting is the ninth studio album by the German heavy metal band Scorpions, released in 1984 (see 1984 in music). ...

The Theater: Savage Amusement' - New York Times (586 words)
The decaying city landscape, in which jerrbuilt high-rise apartments quickly become new slums, is the setting for Peter Flannery's "Savage Amusement." In this British play, now running at The American Stage Company, guerrilla warfare has broken out among squatters, raiding bands of delinquents and the faceless operators of the wrecking ball.
Watching "Savage Amusement," with its staccato style, performed in an almost bare room, one necessarily thinks that the author may have chosen teh wrong avenue of expression.
With its English localisms, "Savage Amusement" is not easily adaptable to the American stage.
