Centerfire Rifles

Savage produces a variety of centerfire rifles based on the Savage 110 action. This is a push feed type action. This action is unique in that the barrel is held in place using a removable nut. This makes it easy to replace and headspace the barrel.

Savage centerfire rifles have been rated very highly by Gun Tests magazine for their excellent out-of-the-box accuracy and affordability.

Savage rifles are all based on the model 110 action. The short action models are designated with two digits, such as the model 10, while the long action rifles are designated with three digits, such as the model 110. Other rifles include the model 11/111 (synthetic stock), model 16/116 (synthetic stock and stainless steel), and various versions of the model 12 with a heavy barrel.

Savage also produces a hunting pistol, called the Striker and a bolt action shotgun, called the model 24.

Savage Arms, Canada produces several models of .22 and .17 caliber bolt action and semi-automatic rifles, many of which now feature the AccuTrigger system.
