Savonia offers mainly Bachelor degree studies (Master degree -programmes are in early adopt stages). It is the fifth biggest University of Applied Sciences in Finland with about 7 000 students.


The biggest field of education is Engineering. Engineers graduate after minimum of four years and 240 ECTS credits after which they are awarded with the degree of Insinööri(AMK), equalent of Bachelor of Engineering (BEng). The second largest field is Business, which educates its students for minimum of three years and 210 ECTS credits. Business studies lead to the degree of Tradenomi, equalent of Bachelor of Business Administration. You can also study in english (Degree Programme in International Business) and complete the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
