Saydal Sokhandan was an Afghan revolutionary poet, a Maoist activist, and a student leader. He was studying at faculty of science Kabul University in early 70's. He was a great orator and rabble rouser, who organized for Progressvie Youth Organization, a Maoist organizition. PYO is considered the first revolutionary communist formation in Afghanistan.
