SCHONEBECK, a town of Germany, in the province of Prussian Saxony, on the left bank of the Elbe, 9 m.
Large beds of rock-salt also occur in the neighbourhood, in which shafts have been sunk to a depth of more than 1200 ft. There is a harbour on the Elbe here, and a brisk trade is carried on in coal, grain and timber.
Since more than 25 years Ilona and H.- Gerd Schonebeck dedicated their life to the horses, the training and the management.
During all those years international contacts were made and helped to bring in the necessary prosperous balance for the Schonebeck Stable.
With their more than 25 years of experience and the number of different horses they had in training, they now concentrate in buying foals from successful family lines and start them for the world of the equestrian sports.
