Schoten is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Schoten proper. On January 1st, 2004 Schoten had a total population of 33,190 (16,139 males and 17,051 females). The total area is 29.55 km� which gives a population density of 1,123.10 inhabitants per km�.
