Scott Cordelle Bone (February 15, 1860–January 27, 1936) was an American Republican politician who was the Governor of Alaska Territory from 1921 to 1925. He was born in Shelby County, Indiana and died in Santa Barbara, California. It was Governor Bone who ordered a relay of dog teams to transport diphtheria antitoxin to Nome in 1925 to thwart a threatened epidemic, a mission now memorialized by the Iditarod sled dog race.
