He strictly follows Hasidic Judaism, and often finds that conflicts with is line of business. The conflicts of religion, work, and living a life worth living, often come to dramatic blows with each other. A notable source of conflict and large bout of drama comes about as he, in typical storybook style, falls in love head over heals for adult actress TMFR. He, the older, wiser, gentleman like figure. She, the beautiful, young, naive, & weed smoking love of his life. The older gentleman, who has made a living by being as critical as he can about adult film actresses, awakes one day to realize he's in some serious trouble. He loves her, he doesn't have to try, he just loves her. That's the worst and best part of this tragedy. He knows he loves her, and she sort-of knows he loves her but has her suspicions, & also a career to think about. They are married. After they've wed, Scott, deep in thought comes to the realization that he can not be married to an adult actresses and be happy, so long as she's still making films. He, in his ethical stance feels worthless, and unworthy of being with such a beautiful and special woman so long as he can't provide for her, provide for her enough that she need not work as an adult film actress. Thus we have deep conflict, no doubt some late night drama, and the end of a marriage, for now. Luke Ford is a Los Angeles-based porn gossip columnist. ...
