Scott Riggs failed to make the 2006 Daytona 500 on February 15th, 2006 because Riggs had no owner points from last year's season to enter the race. The #10 team is currently within the top-35 in owners' points, which assures him a starting spot unless he drops out of the top-35. Scott has fought back to get to 22nd in owners' points which is a very nice place to be in. He has two back-to-back top 10's at Martinsville and at Texas.
