Outright Scotland is a gay rights organisation based in Edinburgh, Scotland.


Outright Scotland began as the Scottish Minorities Group in 1969.


In 1978 SMG changed its name to the Scottish Homosexual Rights Group (SHRG).


In 1982 SHRG began publishing the Gay Scotland magazine


In 1992, SHRG became Outright Scotland.


Currently focusing on work around the Scottish Parliament, Scottish Executive and Scottish Public Institutions such as the NHS, Police and Justice System.
