Seabiscuit is a 2003 American drama film based on the best-selling book Seabiscuit: An American Legend by Laura Hillenbrand. The film follows the book fairly closely, albeit taking the usual "Hollywood biography" liberties with times and places here and there in order to compress the presentation. David McCullough's narration gives the film somewhat of a "documentary" feel and adds to the drama of the story.
