Sean Heuston (February 21, 1897 - May 8, 1916) was an Irish rebel and member of Fianna Eireann who took part in the Easter Rising of 1916. With about 20 men roughly his own age, he held the Mendicity Institution on the River Liffey for 2 days, though it was originally only intended to be held for hours. He was executed by firing squad on May 8 in Kilmainham Jail, the youngest of the rebels to meet that fate.
