Football is the most popular sport in Scotland and is the country's national sport.
Queen's Park was one of the world's first football clubs and due to the level of its fame was entitled to play in not only the Scottish competitions, but English competitions such as the FA Cup, reaching the final in 1884 and 1885.
League football in Scotland is split between the Scottish Premier League and the Scottish Football Leagues.
