The Serb Democratic Party (Serbian: Srpska Demokratska Stranka, SDS) is a political party for Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is led by Dragan Kalinić and has 5 seats of 42 in Parliament.


Notable party members have included Radovan Karadžić (active 1989-1996), Biljana Plavšić (active 1989-1997), Momčilo Krajišnik, Nikola Koljević.


Other parties

Note that there was also a Serb Democratic Party in Croatia between 1990 and 1995, led by Jovan Rašković and Milan Babić. See also: Republic of Serbian Krajina.


Not to be confused with the Democratic Party or the Democratic Party of Serbia.

The Serbian Democratic Party (Serbian: Srpska Demokratska Stranka, SDS) is a Serbian nationalist political party in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It is led by Dragan Čavić who also became the president of the Republika Srpska (RS) on 28 November 2002, following the implementation of the October general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Note that there was also a Serb Democratic Party in Croatia between 1990 and 1995, led by Jovan Rašković and Milan Babić.
