Sergey Vladimirovich Ilyushin (Russian: Серге́й Владимирович Илю́шин; March 30, 1894 – February 9, 1977) was a Russian aircraft designer who founded the Ilyushin aircraft design bureau.
Born in Dilialevo, Russia, he became interested in aviation in 1910 and was qualified as a pilot in World War I.
His Ilyushin Il-2 fighter and Ilyushin Il-4 bomber were used extensively in World War II.
