Seydou Elimane Diarra (born November 23, 1933) is a former Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire. He was prime minister from May to October of 2000 while Robert Guéï, who seized power in a December 1999 coup, was president. He was again appointed Prime Minister in February 2003 as part of a deal to end the country's 2002-2003 civil war, because he is considered by some to be a neutral figure; however, many supporters of President Laurent Gbagbo accused him of not taking a strong stance against the rebels, despite their failure to disarm in October 2004, and demanded his resignation.
