Shaitan is the Islamic word for "Adversary". It could possibly be a derivation of Satan, in Islam known as Iblis. The adversary of Allah is called by this name or title in the Qur'an.
In the Dune novel, Shaitan is the name used also for Satan, the evil side of Shai-hulud
Shaitan is also the name of the main evil force in the The Wheel of Time, although spelled Shai'tan. Saying its true name brings bad luck. He is most commonly called the Dark One. For more details, see Dark Characters in the Wheel of Time.
In Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian "sejtan" (pronounced Sheitan) means the devil/Luficer/satan. It is thought to be a Turkish word imported to the language, like many other words during the Ottoman rule.
He's on another planet, making a new life for himself so that when he DOES meet up with his Triad and they tell him, HELLO, you STILL have a life with us he'll have to REDO everything all over again and try to find a way to mix the two lives together again.
He'll find the piece of her in his son's DNA is because of the scent-marker because his other son, his NEWBORN, the one that Carrie birthed so you can't be confused about who his mother is, has the same Prime DNA.
He's got Kezule's daughter that he's very close to, and he's got Zayshul that he sees as a mother-type figure so if he takes Shaidan home with him he's going to be pining for Zayshul and Mayza.
For example: if a character with a Dex of 6 and a Fight of 6 and the Shaidan Martial Art punches someone he takes his basic Dex+Fight score and adds 4 (the Shaidan punch action modifier) to it, giving a usable goal of 16 or less.
If, however, he were to attempt to kick someone in the ribs his Dex+Fight is reduced by 1 to 11 (Shaidan practitioners do not do anything so undignified as kicking!).
The keynotes of this Martial Art are dignity, poise and an awareness of one's surroundings.
