Saivite: of Saivism; belonging to Saivism, the Hindu denomination that worships God Siva as the Supreme God.


Hinduism is a rich and complex religion traditionally divided in four major denominations: Saivism, Shaktism, Vaishnavism and Smartism. Saivites are those who primarily worship God Siva and follow the philosophy and disciplines of Saivism.
