Shunyi District is an administrative District outside of Beijing proper.


The International School of Beijing and the Western Acedemy of Beijing are both located in Shunyi District.


Although many believe the Beijing Capital International Airport to be in Shunyi, it, in fact, is an extension of Chaoyang District.


The Northern Approach Route of the Airport Expressway will pass through Shunyi District.


The centre of Shunyi is near the north-eastern 6th Ring Road.
