Sidney George "Sid" Wilson (born in Des Moines, Iowa) is an American turntablist for the metal band Slipknot. He is the youngest band member in Slipknot. Sid also tours as DJ Starscream, a name taken from the popular 1980s television show Transformers (of which he has the shows symbols tattooed on the backs of his hands). He is currently signed to Japanese/US label Nitrous Oxide (N20) Records. He performs jungle music. ^[1]. He has a big following in Japan, as most of his CDs are released there first and recently collaborated with The Mad Capsule Markets vocalist Kyono on a song called "HAKAI (Deathtroy)" for the Death Note movie soundtrack ^[2]. Wilson is known for his antics on stage, he has been known to have fights on stage with Shawn "Clown" Crahan, setting himself on fire and jumping off the stage into the crowd. In his interview on the Voliminal: Inside the Nine DVD he stated that in the future he will not do these thing because if he set himself on fire again he will be arrested for attempting suicide. Masks

Sid's very first mask was a Canadian C3 Gas Mask and a couple of others. Actually for the first tour he wore a total of eight different gas masks. This one was used for the self titled album and tour. He says he wears the mask because it is part of his personality and he also has Organic Brain Syndrome. Which whenever oxygen enters his skull he may hate somebody for no appearant reason. His second mask was kinda of like an upgrade to the earlier one. It had the same type of face but this time it is a full head mask that resembles a skull. It was used for the Iowa album and tour, he had a couple different variations of this mask. His next mask was just a face mask. It resembles a zombie-skull like face. He used this for the Vol. 3 Subliminal Versus tour and album. He also has another mask that he used for the Vol. 3 tour. This mask was a full head mask and resembled a skull almost exactly. These are all the masks he has used so far now we just have to wait for the next album to see the new mask.
