Getting their moniker from Buddha's original name, Siddharta is a six-piece slovenian melodic metal band founded in 1995, probably Slovenia's most popular musical act since Laibach.

In the story, a Hindu Prince called Siddharta embarks on a journey to attain enlightenment and is viewed by the children in the Story.
Mara decides that Siddharta will not deny himself and turns into his image in a reflection on a pool of water.
Lama Norbu explains that Siddharta won against an army of demons, just through the force of his patience and tolerance; he achieved great peacefulness and compassion, through detachment from illusions.
Siddharta, are one the biggest and most famous rock band in Slovenia at the moment, and have spent the last nine years working towards their goal of chart domination.
After that the band retreated from public life, and started working on their third album "Rh" which was released in the summer of 2003 and sold in excess of 10,000 copies in the first week of sales alone.
Siddharta have won countless awards including: a Diamond Record award, the highest award for sales recognition in Slovenia, for their album "Rh", the Bumerang award for Breakthrough, the Zlati petelin award for Best new act, Viktor award for Artist of the year (2001 and 2003) and many more.
